While certain services at South Vancouver Youth Centre are accessed by MCFD or VSB referral, there are a number of services and opportunities open to the community. These include:

• Family Support Groups
• Special Topic Groups for Youth or Families
• Housing Support and Assistance (for Youth)
• Life skill development or Pre-employment Workshops
• Pregnant and Parenting Teen Groups

Youth and families in the community may also come in or call at any time to talk to a member of the SVYC Youth Services Team about their needs or concerns. We can offer support with access or referrals to other Youth Centres (for programs such as the Central Housing Registry, Youth Outreach, Volunteer Mentoring, or Aboriginal services), or to other community-based services such as Family Preservation, Addiction services, Early Childhood Development Programs, recreational and educational opportunities, employment services, and more.

Community groups wishing to use space in the South Vancouver Youth Centre for regular meetings, community forums, or special activities are invited to call the Centre Manager at 604-325-2004.
